Due to the attractiveness of the export-policies of the government, the group encouraged to invest very heavily in processing facilities, particularly for shrimps, which are its main businesses. The closeness to the coast and vast seafood raw material paved the way and created the potential to provide fresh and chilled shrimps & seafood from the independent fishermen who fish with small fiber-glass boats within few hours from fishing grounds in the Persian-Gulf waters. This has allowed Amiran Omid Abadan Company to focus and concentrate on farmed shrimp reproduction and the continuing program of factory capital investments in this field.
